First of all, this article is dedicated to one of my great friends, who always support and help me in making most critical decisions of my life.

Friendship is the only relationship we make ourselves, rest all the relations are made by heaven as our elders said. Just like a train journey, friendship is where we meet some strangers, and start some conversations with them as the train moves.

Stations will keep passing one by one and we will get close to that stranger with whom we both have shared all our life secrets and thoughts, also we become so close to each other that we will try to divert all the bad things coming on that stranger friend to ourselves.

As the train moves, there will be a moment where that stranger has reached the destination and has to leave the journey now and move to the intended destination he/she is traveling to.

Here, the time is to keep all the moments of the journey in your heart as good times and let them go to their destination except becoming selfish and preventing he/she from going.

As one of my most trustworthy and great friends ever said, no one is permanent in our life everyone is with us for a time period so we have not to stick to them and keep going.

Let’s take a scenario I have witnessed in recent years, where a girl or a boy are very familiar with each other; they used to hangout every day or every weekend, always trying to find some time to spend with each other, whether it’s a trip, make-out, or any occasion. They were so close that even their parents doubted they were in a relationship, which was not the case.

Now, here is a moment when the boy starts feeling for her but doesn’t want to confess to her, thinking about how she will react. But, that girl was smart enough and she sensed that thing, and she asked him directly the case, where he agreed and confessed, but we never know what destiny is. She answered with “No”, and both the boy and girl accepted and handled the situation in a matured way. As months passed by, they became the same as they were.

The above scenario taught me that there is no such thing that one who is right for someone has to become his/her partner. A good and caring friend who always thinks about you, advises you, and supports you in difficult times, but not your life partner, is good enough.

Therefore, our lives should not stick to a particular thing or person. As suggested by a great personality, “Robert Frost in his poem (Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening), that must be considered by every individual:

“The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep”

I appreciate you reading so much. I sincerely hope you find it enjoyable, and I would appreciate honest feedbacks you may have on the article’s overall idea. Keep reading.
